Scottish Women in Sport are seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our board.

We are looking for people with knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Finance, Digital Communications, Governance, Safeguarding & Welfare and Equality & Inclusion

Scottish Women in Sport is the leading charity in Scotland whose vision is a world where women and girls have equal and fair opportunities in sport. 

Now is an exciting time to join us as we are about to celebrate a decade of creating change in Scotland’s sporting world. We are in the process of refreshing our strategy and looking to the future as we plan to make the biggest possible impact to remove existing barriers for women in sport in Scotland.

Working as part of a team on our Board, you will be responsible for ensuring robust governance and finances of Scottish Women in Sport, as well as thinking creatively about our workstreams.

Your specific skills, knowledge and expertise will be used to provide strategic guidance and make a positive difference to Scottish Women in Sport.

It is anticipated that attendance will be required at no more than eight Board meetings per annum plus any strategy meetings or subgroups as appropriate, with regular communication from the CEO and other Trustees.
