Blog 128: Finding Space for Girls in Urban Sports

Susannah Dale is the marketing manager for a physical literacy charity based in Glasgow called Movement Park. Their goal within the community is to develop physical literacy through the power of play, through parkour, skateboarding and cycling. We heard from Susannah about their upcoming skateboarding course to encourage more girls to take up the sport and what their plans for the near future are.

Scottish Women in Sport is dedicated to promoting diversity, equality and parity in sport, based on education, empathy and compassion. In order to amplify the voices of marginalised communities, we created this blog to share inspiring stories that make us understand each other's experiences better.
